SUMMARY:2019 CALENDAR OF EVENTS
DESCRIPTION:CONTENTS \n\nThe Mathematics of Good Friday: —                 —                 —\nThe Essence of Fasting: —                 —                 —\n2019 Lent Period:                          —                 —                 —\n2019 Pentecostal Periods:           —                 —                 —\n2019 Dry Fast Periods:                 —                 —                 —\n2019 Important Events:                 —                 —                 —\nProgramme of Events for the Holy Week/\n\nPentecostal Assembly Activities  –  2019                  —                 — \n–        First Term Programme (January – April 2019)         –                  — \n–        Second Term Programme (May – August 2019)–            — \n–        Third Term Programme (September – December 2019)  — \n–        Programme for April Pentecostal Assembly – 2019:                   — \n–        Programme for August Pentecostal Assembly – 2019:     — \n–        Programme for December Pentecostal Assembly- 2019:         — \n–        Approved BCS Pentecostal Centres:              —                 — \n–        Approved BCS Healing Homes:                      —                 — \n  \nWHY BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STAR OBSERVES THURSDAY AS THE CORRECT DAY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST WAS CRUCIFIED. \n  \nTHE MATHEMATICS OF GOOD FRIDAY \n  \nThe entire Christendom\, and even non-Christians till this day maintain that our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified on a Friday. This explains why the Friday during the Holy Week is regarded as the day our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified and named Good Friday and set aside as a public holiday throughout the Christian World. But Leader Olumba Olumba Obu\, the Sole Spiritual Head of the Universe\, the Greatest Cosmic Teacher\, King of kings and Lord of lords has authoritatively asserted that our Lord Jesus Christ was not crucified on Friday\, but on Thursday. He argues that if our Lord was crucified on Friday\, He would not have been in the grave for three days and three nights as He had predicted. \n  \n“For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth” (Matt.12:40) \n  \nThe correct calculation as revealed by Leader Olumba Olumba Obu\, the Greatest Cosmic Teacher who has come to teach and lead all creation of God to the accurate knowledge of truth is as follow; \n  \nFrom 6.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. on Thursday                        –                       1st day \nFrom 6.00 p.m. on Thursday to 6.00 a.m. on Friday      –                       1st night \nFrom 6.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. on Friday                              –                       2nd day \nFrom 6.00 p.m. on Friday to 6.00 a.m. on Saturday       –                       2nd night \nFrom 6.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. on Saturday             –                       3rd day \nFrom 6.00 p.m. on Saturday to 6.00 a.m. on Sunday    –                       3rd night. \n  \nNow the Holy Father has directed that “Thursday” during the Holy Week be observed as “Holy Thursday” in commemoration of the Crucifixion of Our Lord Jesus Christ. \nFull service shall therefore be conducted in all Bethels and Pentecostal Centres throughout the Brotherhood World. \n  \n  \nThank You Father. \n  \n THE IMPORTANCE OF FASTING AND PRAYING \n  \nFirst Lesson: \nHow be it this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. (KJV Matt.17:21) \n  \nSecond Lesson: \nAnd she was a widow of about fourscore and four years\, which departed not from the temple\, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day (KJV Luke 2:37) \n  \nGolden Text: \nAnd Cornelius said\, four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house\, and\, behold\, a man stood before me in bright clothing\, And said\, Cornelius\, thy prayer is heard\, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God. (KJV Acts 10:30-31) \nBeloved\, the holy bible on the above texts tells us distinctively that without fasting and prayer we cannot commune nor have any interaction with God our heavenly Father. \nThe above portions of the Scripture gives us very admonitions concerning the importance of Christian life. \nGod has given us a chance to turn to Him by changing our lifestyle through a simple way that does not require sacrifice of any kind than to surrender ourselves in fasting and praying in order to be one with Him. \nParticipation in any type of fast\, be it 6am-12noon\, 6am-6pm\, dry fast of 3 days or 7 days as may be directed and guided by the Holy Spirit\, is very essential for all children of God. \nFasting and praying is the most effective weapon instituted by the Holy Father for His beloved children\, in order to witness His love\, mercy and His great manifestations in our lives. \n  \nBegin and end whatever you embark on with fasting and prayer. Fasting and prayer is meant to buildup our body and the Spirit to enable us accomplish all difficult tasks that may confront us. \n  \nIt is pertinent to know that only fasting and prayer can fasten you to the Holy Father\, who is spiritually present everywhere\, to guide and protect you in all your endeavours. \n  \n  \nThank You Father. \n  \n2019 CALENDAR OF EVENTS (LENT PERIOD) \n  \n  \n\n\n\nDATE\nDAYS\nEVENTS\n\n\n13-03-2019 \nThru \n21-04-2019\nWednesday \nThru \nSunday\n40 days fast begins \n6a.m.-6p.m. daily \n40 days fast ends.\n\n\n18-04-2019\nThursday \n \nHoly Thursday\, full service to be conducted in all Pentecostal Centres.\n\n\n19-04-2019\nFriday\nGood Friday\n\n\n20-04-2019\nSaturday\nNormal Worship\n\n\n21-04-2019\nSunday\nEaster Sunday\n\n\n22-04-2019\nMonday\nEaster Monday\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDRY FAST PERIOD 2019\n\n\n\nDATES\nDAYS\nEVENTS\n\n\n1ST Term: \n01-04-2019 \nThru \n04-04-2019\n  \nMonday \nThru \nThursday\nDeclared 3 Days Dry Fast Period. \nFor purification of body and soul.\n\n\n2ND TERM: \n22-07-2019 \nThru \n25-07-2019\n  \nMonday \nThru \nThursday\nDeclared 3 Days Dry Fast Period. \nFor purification of body and soul.\n\n\n3RD TERM: \n02-12-2019 \nThru \n05-12-2019\n  \nMonday \nThru \nThursday\nDeclared 3 Days Dry Fast Period. \nFor purification of body and soul.\n\n\n\n  \nPENTECOSTAL PERIOD –  2019 \n  \n\n\n\nDATES\nDAYS\nEVENTS\n\n\n12-04-2019 \nThru \n04-05-2019\nFriday \nThru \nSaturday\nApril Pentecostal begins \n  \nApril Pentecostal ends.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n02-08-2019 \nThru   \n24-08-2019\nFriday \nThru \nSaturday\nAugust Pentecostal begins \n  \nAugust Pentecostal ends.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n13-12-2019 \nThru \n04-01-2020\nFriday \nThru \nSaturday\nDecember Pentecostal begins \n  \nDecember Pentecostal ends.\n\n\n\n  \nIMPORTANT EVENTS – 2019 \n  \n  \n\n\n\nDAYS\nEVENTS\n\n\n18-04-2019 \n  \nHOLY THURSDAY \nTo commemorate the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ. \nNormal fast is mandatory to all members.\n\n\n21-04-2019 \n  \nEASTER SUNDAY\nTo commemorate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
