WHY BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STAR OBSERVES THURSDAY AS THE CORRECT DAY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST WAS CRUCIFIED.
THE MATHEMATICS OF GOOD FRIDAY
The entire Christendom, and even non-Christians till this day maintain that our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified on a Friday. This explains why the Friday during the Holy Week is regarded as the day our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified and named Good Friday and set aside as a public holiday throughout the Christian World. But Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, the Sole Spiritual Head of the Universe, the Greatest Cosmic Teacher, King of kings and Lord of lords has authoritatively asserted that our Lord Jesus Christ was not crucified on Friday, but on Thursday. He argues that if our Lord was crucified on Friday, He would not have been in the grave for three days and three nights as He had predicted.
“For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth” (Matt.12:40)
The correct calculation as revealed by Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, the Greatest Cosmic Teacher who has come to teach and lead all creation of God to the accurate knowledge of truth is as follow;
From 6.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. on Thursday – 1st day
From 6.00 p.m. on Thursday to 6.00 a.m. on Friday – 1st night
From 6.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. on Friday – 2nd day
From 6.00 p.m. on Friday to 6.00 a.m. on Saturday – 2nd night
From 6.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. on Saturday – 3rd day
From 6.00 p.m. on Saturday to 6.00 a.m. on Sunday – 3rd night.
Now the Holy Father has directed that “Thursday” during the Holy Week be observed as “Holy Thursday” in commemoration of the Crucifixion of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Full service shall therefore be conducted in all Bethels and Pentecostal Centres throughout the Brotherhood World.

THE IMPORTANCE OF FASTING AND PRAYING
First Lesson:
How be it this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. (KJV Matt.17:21)
Second Lesson:
And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day (KJV Luke 2:37)
Golden Text:
And Cornelius said, four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing, And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God. (KJV Acts 10:30-31)
Beloved, the holy bible on the above texts tells us distinctively that without fasting and prayer we cannot commune nor have any interaction with God our heavenly Father.
The above portions of the Scripture gives us very admonitions concerning the importance of Christian life.
God has given us a chance to turn to Him by changing our lifestyle through a simple way that does not require sacrifice of any kind than to surrender ourselves in fasting and praying in order to be one with Him.
Participation in any type of fast, be it 6am-12noon, 6am-6pm, dry fast of 3 days or 7 days as may be directed and guided by the Holy Spirit, is very essential for all children of God.
Fasting and praying is the most effective weapon instituted by the Holy Father for His beloved children, in order to witness His love, mercy and His great manifestations in our lives.
Begin and end whatever you embark on with fasting and prayer. Fasting and prayer is meant to buildup our body and the Spirit to enable us accomplish all difficult tasks that may confront us.
It is pertinent to know that only fasting and prayer can fasten you to the Holy Father, who is spiritually present everywhere, to guide and protect you in all your endeavours.
