AN ADDRESS BY THE ACTING CHAIRMAN OF THE BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STAR ON THE OCCASION OF THE OFFICIAL RECEPTION ON 1ST NOVEMBER, 2025.
In the name of our Jesus Christ
In the blood of our Jesus Christ
Now and forever more. Amen.
Distinguished Council Members, Our Lordships, the Bishops of Brotherhood, the anointed priests of the New Kingdom officially known as The Christ Natural Truth Missionaries and the 144 Thousand Virgin Body, all dignitaries here present, our beloved members from far and near, and members of the Press and Media. All protocols duly observed. You are all most welcome to this auspicious and epoch making occasion in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Today is indeed a great day in the history of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star.
Why do I say it is a great day? It is not for the reason that most of you are thinking.
Many of you are under the mistaken impression that you are coming here to
celebrate Deaconess V.B Clarke. But that is not the case. The real thing we are celebrating today is the principle of an orderly and smooth transition.
The ability of we, the Brotherhood faithfuls, to transition smoothly and peacefully from one administration to the next (though all administrations belong to the Father). And who made this peaceful transition possible? It is the Holy Father, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu. So He is the true celebrant of today’s reception. Without Him none of this would be made possible.
He is all and in all, He is the council, He is the Leader’s Office, He is the fellowships, He is you and He is me. In short, He is Brotherhood, the only cock to crow! And this celebration is for him.
Some of you will be thinking that this is not the first time we have witnessed a smooth transition after all we all witnessed the transition from the Queen Mother to His Holiness Obu. But this transition is different. For the first time it is not a transition from one Red Garment to another, from one family member to another.
This time the Father has made a radical change, moving the leadership of the
administration of the Kingdom from the biological family of Olumba to we the ordinary members (outsiders of the family). This is the first time that a person not wearing the red garment is at the helm of affairs.
The ability of any organisation to successfully transition from one administration to the next is what guarantees the continuity of that organisation. And that is what the Father has accomplished quietly and peacefully this time, to ensure that Brotherhood survives the immediate family of Olumba.
Since the Father has broken that pattern of leadership remaining within the biological family of Olumba, it will never reoccur here again. Brotherhood has come of age. It is no longer what was perceived to be a family institution, but is now correctly identified as the true formidable Kingdom of God, where
everything is governed by the Holy Spirit, and not by a clique of family members.
The Holy Father has established His Kingdom on an unshakeable foundation. This is not a Kingdom that is here today and gone tomorrow. This is the eternal kingdom of which Nebuchadnezzar dreamt, Daniel prophesied and the Apostles of old longed to see.
By the act of handing over the administrative leadership of the Kingdom to the Father in the members, He is showing the world that we are the true children of God, born of the Spirit and not of the Flesh (Romans 9: 8, and verse 25-26). Know it today that we, the members, are the chosen ones. Every one of you here has been specifically called and anointed by God. We are not adopted children, but the true children of Olumba, the owners of the Kingdom.
We are more than conquerors! We will tread over lions and adders and trample the enemy under foot. We will move mountains and walk over rivers (Mark 16:17-18). Nothing and no one can stop us because we are an unstoppable force, God’s own army, the army of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, the Sole Spiritual Head! Our white soutane is a royal garment, our amour that no bullet or weapon can penetrate because it has been washed in the blood of the lamb.
But remember that it is a garment of righteousness that only protects those who
abide by the teachings of the Father. If we look at the history of Christianity we see that the Father is following the precedent laid down in the time of Our Lord Jesus Christ when the leadership of the kingdom was not handed over to any of our Lord Jesus Christ family members but to Apostle Peter.
However with this promotion of the members comes a corresponding responsibility. To whom much is given, much is expected. Now we must work extra hard to ensure that we do not disappoint the Father and that Brotherhood grows from strength to strength. We must give lavishly of our time, our energy, our money, our knowledge to carry the Gospel of Olumba all over the world.
Father has propelled Brotherhood to a new and higher level. Whether you believe it or not Brotherhood is going to expand beyond our wildest dreams! We are becoming stronger and more powerful.
The Father will equip us financially and spiritually to build this Kingdom. He is raising His children to be millionaires and
billionaires to win souls, build great cathedrals, own factories and businesses to evangelise the whole world. He is bringing in dignitaries, Presidents, Generals and Tycoons.
However, we have spoken much about Transition, but there is another very
important issue that this appointment of Acting Chairman has addressed, and that
is the issue of the Liberation of Women.
This appointment is significant for more than one reason? In one fell swoop the Holy Father has killed two birds with one stone. Firstly he has ensured that this Kingdom will endure to eternity because He has enshrined the principle of a smooth and peaceful transition, not dependent on a family bloodline, but on the divine will of the Holy Spirit.
Secondly, by this appointment the Holy Father has completed the total liberation of women. He has shown the world that in the kingdom of God there is neither male nor female. (Galatians 3:26-29).
He has completely forgiven the sin committed by our mother Eve in the Garden of Eden, as a result of which God placed all women under a curse. So by the Word of God, women were placed in bondage under the men folk and by the same Word of God, women have now been forgiven and restored to their former exalted position as equal partners with men.
Over the centuries women have struggled to be emancipated but this could not be achieved except through the Word of God. Which other religion has been able to liberate women? It is only the God of Brotherhood.
Can Jews, Catholics,Muslims, Buddhists accomplish this? Can you imagine a woman Pope or a woman Islamic leader? However before women begin to rejoice excessively; it is important to remember that with every promotion comes a corresponding responsibility.
Now that our Father has made us equal partners with our men, we must be prepared to share their burden with them. We must become their true helpmates doing everything with a spirit of humility and not with pride. Now the sky is the limit for women. We will excel in all fields of human endeavour. We will reach the top in government, politics and business. But we must maintain the highest standards of probity and integrity so as not to abuse the liberty the Father has given us. With God on our side we will succeed.
THE WAY FORWARD
As we conclude the first quarter of the 21st century it is pertinent to ask what is the way forward for the Kingdom? You might say, what is the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star Mission Statement?
Our first and greatest priority is aggressive evangelization (Mark 16: 15-16). TheGospel of Olumba must be carried to all the nooks and corners of the world, toAfrica, Europe, America, Asia and Australia.
This might sound very ambitious but the Chinese proverb says that the journey ofa. thousand miles begins with one step” In this regard, we must make a concerted effort to bring in more young people for they are filled with new modern ideas and they are the future of the Kingdom. For effective evangelisation we must use all means at our disposal, modern technology, social media, the Internet, Television etc.
The second most important agenda is Financial Diversification. We cannot continue to depend on a single stream of income which is primarily tithes. We must diversify and establish income generating businesses such as; technology, banking, media, farming, printing, recording, property, shares, cryptocurrency etc.to sustain and grow the kingdom. And in ten years this Kingdom will be transformed financially beyond our wildest imagination.
Thirdly, we have to develop and upgrade our infrastructure, building modern well-equipped cathedral complexes in tune with modern day architecture.
Last but not least, we must invest in human resources. Our CNTM are the engine room of the Kingdom. Those who have forsaken everything to follow the Father, the CNTM and the members are two parts of one whole. We both need each other to exist and must continue to cooperate with each other in a spirit of love and mutual respect.
It is the duty of we the members to ensure that we give them the best. We must improve their welfare, status, education etc. If we fail in doing this, we will be unable to attract good material to our priesthood.
The era of “as poor as a church mouse” has long since ended. Now the churchmice are fat and well fed. Our priests must be made as comfortable as possible, which is why we are introducing generous welfare packages. Since they nurture us with spiritual things, we must nurture them with material things.
WHAT THIS APPOINTMENT MEANS TO ME
This appointment came like a thunderbolt from above. It was something that I could never have expected or imagined in my wildest dreams. It was never a position I ever wanted or lobbied for. In fact my first reaction was to reject it because I was completely overwhelmed and frightened by the enormity of the responsibility.
However this appointment is not for me alone, but it is for all of us jointly. From the Sabbath to the Choristers, to the Ordained ones, Bishops andCNTM, together we all form a collective leadership, under the umbrella of the
Holy Spirit. We are all stakeholders in this Kingdom. And now that the Father has entrusted the kingdom to us the members, we cannot disappoint Him. So in conclusion, I view my appointment as a sacred duty entrusted to me by the Holy Spirit. Flesh and blood cannot do this, but with the support and prayers from you all and with the Father before and behind us we will succeed together.
