More than 200 members of the Universal Men’s Fellowship on 3rd November, 2018 embarked on their annual pilgrimage to reignite the spirit of God’s cherubim.
The Men’s Pilgrimage which is a yearly event had members of the fellowship drawn from all states of the federation and diaspora converging at the Ravine Pentecostal Centre, Uyo, venue of the spirit-filled event.
Conducting the first part of the event, the Holy Father who preached on the theme “the essence of love” admonished the children of God to shun hatred and practice love that loving one another is the only solution that unite the whole world.
The Holy Father urged members to practice love in all their dealings as love is the greatest of all commandment for mankind.
The Chairman on the occasion, Pastor Prince Udoekong, while giving his opening remarks, thanked members of the Universal Men’s Fellowship for gracing the occasion and the women for coming out to support their men’s counterpart, adding that such gesture is in accordance with the Father’s teachings of no man nor woman in the fold.
The event featured lectures, song rendition, gift presentation and recitation by sister Peace Uwem, titled ‘’Olumba the great hero at 3’’.
Also, the Holy Father in Christ Witness Ime Akpakpan, while leading the Bethsaida, a significant purification exercise pronounced the Holy Father’s blessings on the attendees, advising brethren not to relent in their duty in the vineyard.
Witness Akpakpan thanked the men for coming out in their numbers to grace the day and the women for the support shown the men, adding that the blessing of the day was enormous and sufficient for all.
