It was a celebration galore as the brethren in Oron Area including Father’s faithful in Akwa Ibom State and the entire world converged at Number 11 Spring Road Pentecostal Centre Oron to witness as yet another history being recorded in the kingdom. The ceremony was featured by courtesy visit to HRM Etebom Akpan, the Paramount Ruler of Oron at about 9:00am. The Oron Area mass Choir thrilled the mammoth crowd with sweet/melodious tunes, the traditional monarch in a word of welcome to the Father commended Her Holiness, Holy Queen Mother, and her entourage for sparing out time to be in his palace. The songs and inspiring words by the choir and some speakers in the palace, the likes of His Lordship, Bishop Etim E. Ante, Calabar Regional Bishop, and Pastor Joseph Etim sons of the land including Pastor M. U. Akpan, the State Leader’s Representative of Akwa Ibom State. He made reference and prayed Father’s protection, peace and blessing in the land through the visit. In the Father’s advice and blessing at the palace of the monarch the Secretary General thanked the Father for the visit and prayed the Holy Spirit to Protect and direct the monarch as he presents God in the Area. The crew in a convoy arrived the Cathedral at about 11:00am and the Secretary General and Head of Administration B.C.S. flanked by His Lordship Bishop Ubong J. Udoh cut the tape to formally dedicate the Cathedral open for use by the Father’s Children in the world over, especially those at Oron Area. In her dedication speech, she dedicated the Cathedral to the Supreme Father of all, Great Leader O. O. O. Obu and unveiled the plague. The first divine service after the dedicated was conducted by the Father in Christ Witness Ime Akpakpan,the administrative,assistant1 to the Secretary General with the theme “The Purpose for which man was created” Father reminded the brethren that as those created after the image and likeness of God, we are meant to praise, honour, glorify and reference God in all our daily dealings on earth. Man should know his duties on earth and accomplish same so that he can as well enjoy God’s blessing for eternity. Speaking in the launching/appreciation section, the Chairman of the occasion and the Bishop of Calabar Region – His Lordship Bishop Etim E. Ante thanked the Father for a manifestation of His spoken words, which He had declared some years back, given glory to Father for making us to behold and to be witnesses for him towards His will manifesting in this era. He commended the brethren for having turn up en-mass to grace the event and prayed Fathers blessing upon all His children in the Calabar Region and the entire universe. Among the guest in ceremony was the International Chairman of the Missionary Crusader’s Fellowship – Snr. Apostle Udoumoren, E. and his secretary Apostle Mike Udoh, the International Chairman CNCF – Pastor Attah Akpan and his Secretary Apostle Prince Okon including some Executive members and the Universal Youth Fellowship Chairman Apostle Emmanuel Edemeka. Others were Pastor (Prince) M. Udoekong, Pastor Ubong Inyang the State General Fellowship Chairman, all the Area Leader Representatives were not left behind. Pastor Macarthy U. Akpan; the State Leader’s Representative in a keynote address commended the brethren in Oron area for starting and completing the project in a span of time and prayed Fathers blessing upon all His children in the State. Launching for purchase cathedral pews was conducted as the brethren celebrated the Christ Natural Preachers towards the body grand finale. The body acting Chairman C.N.P John Asindi in his vote of thanks commended the brethren for appreciating the Father in the body and Praying Fathers blessing the state and the world at large. He unbehalf of the Christ Natural Preachers Body donated a pew worth #35,000 to the new cathedral. The Akwa Ibom State Central Choir and Oron Area Mass Choirs officiated in the ceremony. Pastor Etim, Joseph in a vote of thanks commended Her Holiness for finding time to be personally in the event and to preform the tape cutting, he specially commended all for honouring the call to make the event colourful and prayed Father’s blessing upon all His children. Finally, the Father in Her Holiness The Secretary General who joyously danced and blessed Her Children for erecting the structure to the Father. She specially commended Snr. Deaconess Angella Atteh for her service to the growth of the kingdom, praying Father to touch her in the point of her great need. The building planning Committee was highly commended for a job well done, as she pronounced that all the Cathedrals of the Father mill fix pews in our Cathedrals as it is our practice from the inception. The secretary General blessed her children and declared healing, liberty to the oppressed, good harvest to farmers, profits to traders, fruit of the worm to be barren, big contracts to seekers, and the greatest, which is the gift of the Holy Spirit to the entire world, asking Father to erect/build more of the edifice to his glory in the State and beyond.
